   This is just what I have been looking for. I crocheted a purse and was trying to learn how to use my sewing machine to install my first zipper into the purse’s lining. You showed me every thing I need to know about zippers. I no longer fear the zipper.

    i work at Jo-ann fabric and crafts, we sell zipper by the yard (its in a box), its in our notions area by the boning and elastic by the yard. we also have it in our home decor notions on a spool. you purchase how ever many yards and a pack of zipper slides. hope this was helpful

    Great tutorial. I was wondering where can I get the zipper tape you talk about. My source of Zippers is the fabric store and I always purchase ready made ones that come in 7″, 9″, etc…
