I think you could …
I think you could have mentioned a true blind stitch, that needs to be done by hand, which involves only going through the threads visible on the wrong side of the fabric and alleviates you from ‘ticking’ stitches. Good video otherwise though, I didn’t know there was a special foot to do this.

One note, there’s different presser foot depending on brand. Not every foot look like this one. My one has a line that you can screw/adjust so it will be exact where you want it depending on fabric.
Also the stitch itelf can also be small zig zag in place for the straight stitch line of the stitch shown. The zig zag is good to bind the edge at same time if you’re sewing with raw edge.
Even my machine from 50’s has a stitch you can use.

This is a helpful video, but you don’t have to have a blind hem foot. I have done blind hems for years and have never owned a blind hem foot. The standard foot will work.
